- EBITDA: Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization. Think of it as profit from the company’s main operations, excluding accounting-related expenses.
- Net Profit (PAT): Profit After Tax. The actual profit the company keeps after ALL expenses and taxes.
- Revenue: Total money the company earned from selling its products/services.
- Order Book: The Total value of projects the company has secured but hasn’t completed yet. Future work = Future money!
- Target Price: The price an analyst believes a stock is worth and could reach.
- Profit-Booking: When investors sell a stock that has gone up in price to “book” (lock in) their profit.
- Volatility: How much a stock price jumps up and down quickly.
